NOTICE: We must make clear that due to the rules and regulations set forth by the city, venue, and state for our show that we have reserved the right to regulate all vendors at our show with the full knowledge, authority, and consent of the town of Sturtevant.

1. Carry-In Reptiles

Table vendors only will be allowed to bring reptiles into the show for the following reasons:

  • To avoid any walk in sales
  • To avoid anyone walking around with a herp that could potentially strike or harm others.
  • To avoid anyone bringing in potential imports.

No animals are to arrive during the show.

2. Imported Animals

This is the most important rule of all. There will be no imported animals PERIOD. This rule will be strictly enforced. This has been and will continue to be a clean show. Due to the confusion created by terms such as Captive Hatched and Farm Raised have been eliminated as well.

3. Venomous Species

NO VENOMOUS OR VENOMOIDS ALLOWED!

4. Outside Venue Issues

We have an agreement, in writing, that the rules lifted for the show ONLY apply inside the building. Any sales outside the venue doors may be in violation of the Sturtevant ordinance and may be cited. We are not liable for any transactions and/or any other incidents outside of the venue doors, including the parking lot.

5. Restrictions

The following are not allowed by the city. Please note that we have no control over this. These restrictions have been put into place by those above us and we respect their wishes.

  • NO MICE, RODENT, OR MAMMAL (VENUE RULE)
  • NO CROCS, GATOR, CAIMEN (CITY RULE)
  • NO ENDANGERED SPECIES (PERMIT EXEMPT)
  • NO STATE PROTECTED SPECIES: (NO PERMIT EXEMPTIONS)
  • NO VENOMOUS REPTILES (CITY RULE)
  • NO SNAKES OVER TEN FEET (CITY RULE)
